    Hello,

We are always looking for ways to improve Webydo and new features to add. This is a great idea for an addition and I will be sure to mention it to our Product team.

Hopefully this will be something that can be added soon!

Keep an eye out for all our updates, we just recently added 5 new gallery options to the studio!

    Hello,

At this time rotating and flipping images is not a feature we have.
If this is something important to you, I would suggest adding this as an idea on our participate page.

    Andy,

You can use the menu element to create buttons for rollover effect.

    1. Open Pages & Navigation
    2. Create a new menu
    3. Add a link to the menu - link it to your social media page
    4. Save
    5. Place menu element on canvas
    6. Select menu to display from dropdown in design panel
    7. Upload image for normal/rollover under the fill section

If you have any other questions please feel free to come onto live chat or email support@webydo.com

    Hello Jaems,

    Yes of course.

All you need to do is bring in your social media icons, then set them to link to their respective sites.

    1. Select image
    2. In top menu click on Link To
    3. Select link
    4. Paste URL and press enter

Please note, links will only work once your site has been published.

Thank you Peter and others for the kind words.
    We really appreciate it.

Since this original post was added we have added a lot of new features and greatly improved the entire system.

We have also expanded our support department to be bigger and offer more hours. Stick around and soon we will be offering 24 hour support 5 days a week!

I saw that there was a comment about not getting a response, I'm shocked to hear it, and would love to know the email so I can look it up and check. We make it a point to always get emails replied to same day and as soon as possible, even on the weekends.

If you ever have questions or need anything please come to live chat or send an email to support@webydo. We're here to help you!

    Hi Celibree!

I am very sorry that you have encountered issues whilst using Webydo. Unfortunately you do have to pay to you use your own domain name.
With regard to our hosting, to clarify this, we use a CDN called Akamai - a content delivery network, which ensures fast and reliable hosting and this is included in our priced plans.
There seems to be a misunderstanding regarding our premium plans. Please feel free to contact support@webydo.com and they will be more than happy to answer any and all of your questions

Great news! The articles element is now responsive, so changes on mobile with the articles element will no longer affect desktop.

    Hey Steve,

If duplicating the articles element isn't an option, you may need to rebuild it in the mobile view.

We are currently working with a new responsive text editor to be released soon. Once it's released, this extra step of duplicating won't be necessary.

I will be sure to update you when it's been released.

    Hello Steve,

For your mobile design, so that the articles don't effect the desktop site, all you need to do is this:

    1. In mobile view, duplicate the articles element
    2. Select the original and turn off it's view for mobile using element visibility (in the properties panel)
    3. Select the new one and do the same, but only keep the mobile view on

Now you can edit the duplicated articles element without it effecting the desktop view.

We are working hard on converting all the elements to be responsive. The articles element isn't ready yet. But this is a quick and easy solution!

Let me know if you need any more help!

    Lionel,

Our CMS system is Webydo :) it's built in.
CMS users will see CONTENT mode instead of your DESIGN mode.

    Hi Melissa,

You can delete the current CMS user. It doesn't let you leave the fields blank but you can insert a fake email address and save it and it will have removed the other user for good.

Also, you can see how the CMS user sees the website by clicking "content" on the top of your design page - in the centre there are three views - design, content, preview. Content shows exactly how the CMS user will see your website.

    I hope this helps!

    Hello,

You are able to change the content heights and footer heights on tablet and mobile devices independent of the desktop. Meaning you can have a content height of 1000 on desktop and 800 on mobile if that is what you want.

Most likely there is an element that is in the way blocking you from being able to bring up your footer. If you send your SID to support@webydo.com or come onto live chat we will be more than happy to help you figure out what is in the way.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello,

You can find all of our templates under the inspiration option when designing a new site.
It's the option on the far left.

We just added a whole bunch of new templates and will be continuing to do so.

    Hello,

We are currently working on creating a rollover feature for buttons on the site.

Until then, there are two ways to create a button.

    1. Use the menu element
    2. Use the shape and text element

For more detailed instructions please contact support@webydo.com and we will be happy to help you.

    Hello Tiago,

You can add a forum to your website, the same way we added ours into Webydo.
All you need to do is paste in the embed code using the ADD CODE TO SITE option.

We use UserVoice for our forum.

    Hello,

Here is the tutorial for adding code to the site. It goes over both the Widget as well as this Add Code feature.

    https://vimeo.com/60459486

Keep in mind, when you add in CSS it's only going to affect anything you have added with HTML, it will not affect elements in the studio.

    Hello,

Password protected pages is something we are working on. You can view our progress on the participate forum. We will be updating it when we are closer to the release of the feature.

Until then, I would suggest creating a hidden page in your site and only giving the link to to the clients you wish. But it will not be locked.

    Hope this helps.
